Surprisingly, given the amount of gobstones falling from the ceiling, Elizabeth's "Impedimenta" actually slowed them down long enough for her to slide past without them hitting her. And by now, several other students had joined her in the corridor, pretty much all of them taking the easy way out of using a shield charm. Even though, in theory, that charm only worked against magic cast against someone, as Elizabeth acknowledged to herself. Besides, she had already gotten hit by a few of the nasty little gobstones, so she didn't see how it mattered. Several showers later, she'd be fine.

After casting her charm a couple more times, she successfully got to the other end, skidding to a stop once the floor evened out slightly. And, with a single glance back, watching the projectiles bouncing to the floor, she opened the door in front of her and slipped through.
