Oh yay, Vannie Corbette was here! Raiden's eyes strayed to the door, remembering the last time he'd seen her; they'd ended up locked in that room, trapped with the mean mirror because someone had tickled the dragon. He was fairly sure they were safe at the moment, as they weren't behind a dragon portrait and the dementor was on the other side of THAT door over there, but still... He managed a little smile and nod, for her question.

"I'm alright," he said, voice cracking halfway through. He looked rather surprised at that, and put one hand to his throat. "Hmm?" Nothing felt off. Why had his voice suddenly gone wonky like that? He shrugged it off and sipped the hot chocolate again. "Thank you Vannie Corbette... are you alright? I was just... really surprised, I think. I didn't really think that they would bring in a... one of... those... for exams."
