Anna watched Professor Kazimeriz as he paced the floor. She was hanging on to everything he was saying, as the Patronus Charm had always been quite the interesting topic as far as she was concerned. To Anna, successfully casting a patronus was one thing, but determing what shape or form that patronus would take...and why...was something else entirely. The thought of what shape or form her patronus would take intrigued her, so much that she often caught herself daydreaming about it. She wasn't daydreaming now, though. She would soon attempt a real Patronus Charm. It probably wouldn't be too strong, and Anna wasn't sure if it'd even take a certain right now, but at least she was getting closer to figuring out the mystery of her potential patronus.

Anna lifted her wand, but kept it still while she listened to Professor Kazimeriz give instructions. When she was ready to begin, Anna tilted her wand to a slight angle to a position a few feet in front of her. She then made a sort of loop shape with it, studying the wand as it made what resembled a little letter e. As soon as her wand scooped down, Anna called out, "Expecto Patronum!" There was nothing, though. No sign of a rabbit, butterfly, cheetah, or stag. No sign of the qilin Professor Kazimeriz had casted.

With determination, Anna tried again and again. The "nothingness" her wand had casted before soon developed into a silvery mist, followed by a lumpy little shape. Anna sure hoped that lumpy little shape was her patronus taking shape. Once again, Anna lifted her wand, watching as she repeated the same steps she'd done many times before. "Expecto Patronum!" she called out. This time, a little animal appeared. Anna couldn't make out what the animal was, but she could tell that it was one that could fly. Even though the body of the animal was a blob, the wings were clear. With a smile on her face, Anna watched as the blob flapped its wings and flew away.
