Speaking of hugs though and loud, squealing and obnoxious fangirls... The fifth year turned around just in time to see Miss Vanessa Corbette launching herself at him into a tackle. Not again! "Yesss... We WON!!" He beamed, tossing the ice pack upward and bringing his hands forward to shield the attack.
But it was useless to fight it, since a moment later, his head was STILL pounding and he fell backwards. Right into the poor girl who had been standing by him in the stands... Who he hadn't even known was there. Or maybe he subconsciously DID know it, The truth was that after Willow had witnessed how Dominic -forget Callie, she hadn't even seen her- had been basically knocked off from his broom, landed on the grass, and taken to the hospital wing, she had not been paying much attention to the match anymore. Though her eyes had been locked on her best friend as she flew around the pitch, playing quidditch -at least she was alright- she was not paying any kind of attention. Because even though the fifth year would never admit it, she'd been worried. Worried because That Denton boy had been taken to the hospital wing.
Naturally, her bottom lip was suffering the consequences - it really was a surprise that it was still intact, what with all her chewing on it and all that.
But of course as soon as the cheering become even more wilder, the girl realized someone must have won. Someone being Hufflepuff, of course, for all the Hufflepuff's supporters were jumping up and down and celebrating and all that. Did they not care about one of their injured player? Obviously not.
She frowned.
Huffing under her breath, and thinking that she would never come to watch a Quidditch game again if she coulld help it, Willow grabbed her messenger bag that had been between her and little Mariel Morgan -had she been supporting Slytherin all along? Willow had not noticed until now- and proceed to stand up.
And then she was been knocked backwards, her amrs flailing. And before Willow could know anything else, she was on the floor, someone much heaver than her on her.
A somehow familiar scent filled her nose. . .
. . . Oh, this was perfect. Not. "You know, Dominic, I'm beginning to think that I have some kind of magnet that attracts you. You are always colliding, crashing, sitting AND falling into me. It's slightly odd, really. Which reminds me, shouldn't you be on the hospital wing? How's your head? Does it hurt?" Was her babbling ever going to stop?
