She looked at him as he denied that he was crying. She rolled her eyes, boys, she sighed. "Ok you aren't crying then," She said gently. She gently wiped the trickle of blood that had started to roll down his face. She started wiping hte dirt of his face as well. Now that she had made him cry she didn't feel so big and bad anymore. She felt like a right jerk for beating up a little kid. "Alright and I'm sorry for dumping water all over you." She wouldn't admit she did it on purpose but she would apologize for dumping the water and soaking him to the bone. He felt like a young child now, younger than he was. His face hurt, but not as much as his pride. Now he'd be teased for crying like a baby just what he needed now. He smiled shyly as he looked down at his body, covered in water and now mud. He couldn't help but laugh, he looked like a mud man now.
"Thanks for cleaning me up some." he said nicely, watching as she finished up. "And I'm sorry for the snowball thing, I got carried away." he said, knowing now would be the best time to get that over with. What was it with him, trying to fight older students who were girls? He was so not being himself right now, and he knew he'd probably get a howler from home if his mum ever found out. "You're pretty strong." he said looking up at her with a small grin as he began removing the mud from his arms.
