"Marry me, Anna. Come here... let me kiss you..."
When she realized she had reached the front of the line, Anna briefly froze in her tracks. She was only slightly aware that she'd stopped breathing for a few seconds as she anticipated what form the nasty little creature would take on. Anna took a few deep breaths and let them all out slowly. Being fearful in a situation such as this one would only end up getting her
nowhere. She
had to keep in mind that whatever it was that would soon approach her was only a nasty, creepy, evil little boggart. Oh how she wished Cale were here to stand by her! As it was, though, he wasn't, so she'd have to toughen up and face her fears alone!
The wardrobe shook, and oddly enough, Cale Newell himself walked right out of it. Only...this was certainly
not the Cale Newell she'd just wished were standing right by her side.
This Cale was one she wanted far, far away.
This Cale was dead...and was apparently headed straight for her. Anna focused on the
boggart and repeated over and over in her head, "
It's only a boggart. It's only a boggart. It's only a boggart... Anna gripped her wand tightly and glared at Cale's cold, dead, creepy approaching form. Anna blinked and jumped back a bit as one of Cale's hands...
ewww...fell off and landed on the floor in front of her. She stared at it for a second or two and then glanced back up at the rotting body in front of her.
Anna gripped her wand even tighter, thought one last, "
It's only a boggart," and then swished and flicked her wand. "Riddikulus!" she exclaimed, a smile already forming on her face. In her head, the corpse was now wearing ballet slippers and a frilly, pink tutu. Soft music began to play in the background, and the corpse pointed its toes and twirled along to the beat of the music. Anna softly laughed at the fact that Cale---even in corpse form---was coordinated enough to perfom the little dance steps he was currently performing.
