Ernie & Gracie . . . & Angie too, I suppose ^_^ ❄ Chasing Waterfalls & Wonder ❄ | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Unintentionally, Dominic's mind began to race off at a hundred miles ahead towards the upcoming Quidditch Match. Perhaps it was the chatter between the two Seventh years regarding the House and Quidditch cup, or maybe just some sort of inner revenge he wanted to get from Rapunzel. A guilt of sorts. Nonetheless, for a moment, the fifth year had forgotten he was standing there before them - about two feet from their table. "Oh, um . . . Nothing really," Dom said, partially truthful. And partial not. "Homework and Prefect Duties." And sonnets, quidditch and other stuff. Turning to look at the ocean blue eyes of the former prefect, Savannah, Dom ran his hand through his hair once. "That would be great, thanks." He nodded, slipping into the free chair that Vannah offered.
Sipping on his butterbeer, the fifth year vaguely listened as the conversation continued between the pair in a casual manner. Well at least until someone - who Dom of course noticed but he pretended not to - entered the Three Broomsticks. And Curt noticed, addressing him about if he was meeting someone here. Implying that he, Dominic Denton, was meeting Willow Kovac here. For a drink. As if.
Though despite his will to seem discreet, some part of him - his 'id' perhaps - was fighting for a different response. One that resulted with the corner of his lips turned halfway up into a semi-smirk, semi-revulsion.
He wasn't planning on meeting anyone here. Not on purpose. So technically this wouldn't be entirely dishonest. "No. I don't think so anyway, unless you count me bumping into you two randomly as 'meeting someone'." He shrugged indifferently and took another sip of butterbeer.
