Until it was mentioned, Savannah had completely forgotten this would be their new first year seekers first actual quidditch match. She had known it, obviously, but between everything going on these days it had slipped away. Her face fell slightly, remembering exactily how nervous she had been during her first match; it hadn't even been with her team, it was an all stars against students game. Nonetheless, she was pleased and comforted in the fact the former Gryffindor Prefect Kerry, and former Gryffindor Captain Ryan were playing as well. She had known both, it helped greatly with the nerves to know a few people on the team. "I hope not. This is his first game, and playing seeker.. that has to be scary. That's alright though, I'm sure you guys will all do great! Jake's a small little guy, like Miranda and Emalyn - being smaller has it's benefits in quidditch." Savannah noted, smiling once more.

Molly had been a tiny girl for her age, and that fact had definitely worked to her advantage. "I remember Molly keeping up with Evan, as chasers the year he graduated," She thought outloud, smiling more brightly as she remembered a particular previous quidditch game. Second year, probably.

Shaking her head lightly upon realizing how random and silly that must have sounded, talking about two former house mates and captains out of the blue, Savannah laughed at Curt's answer regarding the snowball fight teams. "I think Alexis would argue that one, and as long as everyone has fun I'm not so concerned about winning," She mused, taking a sip of her butterbeer before going on, "but since it is your team, I suppose Lex will survive without me. She has been bothering me all term long to duel, maybe a snowball fight will be enough to satisfy her." Not likely, but a girl could dream.

Looking towards where Curt tried silently drawing her attention, curiousity immediately flooded her. The Ravenclaw Captain, Willow. She seemed like a nice girl, Savannah thought anyway from classes and such. Returning her gaze from Curt to Dom, Vannah couldn't help but wonder what Dominic's reaction would be. Perhaps he had grown out of his 'girls are icky' phase?
