I don't mean to imply that she's fickle, but she doesn't actually know who she wants for very certain. It might be you and it might be your big mouthed step brother, and it actually doesn't matter, and it might not actually last your whole entire lives, sorry to burst your bubble! And just because she happens to chose one of you does not mean the other one can't be a man about it and continue to be her friend."

He looked up at Kettleburn and exercised great control to keep his voice even, "That is the part that hurts her the most, and thereby makes me the angriest: You ended your friendship with her. You didn't even give her a say in the matter, it was just over. What are you thinking there?"
