Though part of him thought to just let her go, his bolder side won and pulled Krissy by her hand towards him gently. Helios caught the shivering girl in his arm, hugging her a bit awkwardly since affection wasn't something he ever gave away. Perhaps it was his fancy magic vest under his robes, or his own inner warmth, but the boy seemed to radiate heat. It was enough to dry robes and melt snow, but it was Krissy that melted the ice inside him.
"I can be fun once in a while." Helios said more to himself, trying to reassure himself that he was more than just a musclebound brute
Krissy giggled nervously and returned his awkward half hug.
"I never said yeh weren't fun Helios. One day when I'm sittin before me hearth crocheting clothes for me little ones I'll think back to all the fun I had brawling and bickering with yeh." She gave a genuine smile.
"I will miss yer friendship yeh know. I jest wish we...." she trailed off and looked away.
"I should be getting back to me common room. I believe a hot bath and a book before the fire will do me a world of good." her excuse was weak, but she knew he would happily let her go. He always did.
