Melanie glared back at him...He could be a right foul git, but Melanie wasn't about to tell him that, in fact she was a bit guilty about working him up, but she just had to know. She was too curious not to.

And Melanie wanted revenge even though she knew she'd probably never be able to get it.

Melanie's eyes grew wide and she blinked in surprise at what he told her next. "You mean- You mean to tell me a perfectly healthy boy just happened to drop dead?" she asked incredulously. The thought of Set dead still brought water to her eyes and Melanie felt the smallest of tears prick up in the corners of her eyes as she felt that annoying burning sensation in the back of her throat, but she quickly blinked them away, not wanting to start crying in front of him.

The first year shot him daggers. "Knock it off will you? I'm- I'm just curious." Melanie, defended herself, stuttering slightly.
