"Oh..." Jake murmured. Boys and girls... there was no real difference. People were people and that was that. "Why-" Jake started, but cut himself off. He didn't want to keep asking questions.

Boring his toes of his right shoe into the ground, Jake kept thinking and thinking, but it was no good. He needed real answers.

"I just don't get whyyyyyyy..." Jake blurted out. "Why do girls like boys and have boyfriends and stuff..." He'd never liked anyone... only since coming to Hogwarts had he made real friends, but still... he never 'fancied' anyone. "It's just not normal..."

Then something else occured to Jake. "What's a boyfriend?"
