"Today we are going to combine a few of our previous lessons to discuss something that is very important in Auror training - dodging spells. Now, the only really important things to remember in dodging spells are to be vigilant and to observe your opponents defensively. If any of you have ever played a Muggle card game like poker or even like chess, you know the importance of judging when your opponent is going to move in one way and when he or she is going to move in the other, so to speak. This is similar. Watch the eyes. Watch the body language."
"Find a partner and practice your quick-draws on each other, as well as the spells we've learned so far. You may add some additional spells, but use good reason. The point of this exercise isn't to show off or to hurt one another; its to learn to watch each other and to practice dodging and blocking spells."
