Listening intently as Ashby gave his intructions,Sarah nodded along.
Hmmm sticking charm? Well that made sense. They already knew the un-sticking charm, best to learn how to stick things as well.....unless the teachers were going to volunteer again.
She was about to go and get her paper from his desk when she noticed Mariel had already got some. "Thank you," she said, grinning and taking the sheet from her friend. If we have to do this on our own, what do we have partners for? Musing about that in her head for a few seconds Sarah finally shrugged it off.. I'm sure he'll tell us soon.

"Adhaero,adhaero,adhaero...." Sarah practiced before she put the paper on the wall. I hope this goes well and I don't stick something else..it would be just my luck.
Holding the paper on a free bit of wall,Sarah put her wand on the top corner and began tracing around the edge... "Adddddhhhhhaaaaeeerrooo." OH.She got as far as her hand and found she hand to twist like a contortionist to finish in one go.
With her eyes closed she slowly let go of the paper and peeped out to see the results.Surprisingly most of it had stuck. The bottom edge wasn't down, though,so Sarah redid it and stood back to admire her handy-work.
"Not bad,I suppose," she muttered. "How have you done?" she asked, turning to Mariel and seeing her piece stuck fast too. "Cool!..Are we supposed to unstick them as well?"

Ian turned back to Tobi. "You ready? Regardless, I'm starting!" Ian took his wand and began to trace the outline of the boy while saying the charm. About a third of the way through, Ian ran out of breath, stopped the spell, and said, "Don't move." He took a deep breath and continued the spell, never lifting his wand.

Once he was finished, he looked up at Tobi. "On the count of three. One...Two...THREE!" As he shouted out the word 'three,' Ashby flicked away the desk with his wand.

Tobi was hanging from the wall.

"See? Not so hard, now is it?"
After Mariel had finished with her piece of paper, she stood back to watch Sarah who had about the same level of success. She wasn't completely sure about the answer to her last question, whether or not to unstick them as well, and when she began to open her mouth to respond, she quickly closed it as Ashby looked for a volunteer.

Her green eyes followed the older Gryffindor boy as he walked towards the front of the room, then watched the demonstration of the exercise the class was to perform. Hanging from the wall... it had actually looked kinda fun when the professors did it earlier and this would be less messy using a charm instead of glue. Hopefully Sarah was adept enough at the charm that falling wouldn't be an option. Mariel eyed the Huffie girl tentatively as she pulled a spare ponytail holder out of her robe pocket.

She quickly pulled her hair into a low bun as she wasn't sure how a sticking charm would affect her hair. Better to be safe than sorry. Climbing onto the closest desk to her, Mariel stood with her back against the wall looking expectantly at her friend. "Alright, Sarah, give it a go," she said with an encouraging smile.
