But there was nothing he could do. He followed her out into the corridor. To the world outside the mirror. Forrester glared at the boy, "Obviously, Pierce is not here, Vindictus led several others out, and that is 5 points from Ravenclaw for your cheek!" he told the boy as he left the room. He scowled as several others came and went, those were the smart ones, then he took a couple steps closer and examined the mirror himself. Though his eyes longed to look at the image he would see, he opted to NOT become entranced by seeing his own deepest wishes as if they were true. Those thoughts were best kept out of mind for the time being.
Satisfied that the students had not broken the mirror, he left the room.
