Is. He. INSANE?! Do you REALLY THINK I want to be in pain?! I'm NOT just some fictional character, puppeteered to be put through painful situations for others' amusement! "Ouch... owowowowowowwwww!!!!! What the HECK?!" Jake cried, resisting the urge to dive under a table. Geez, this guy was MEAN!!!!! But, he had to keep his focus; in a real situation he wouldn't control what happen, and he couldn't ask for a timeout.
"PROTEGO!" Jake shouted over the clatters of acorns everywhere. His sheild charm went up again but Jake felt it getting weaker and less effective, so he willed it to work, wished with every atom of his bruised
wittle little body. He did NOT want to feel that pain. He WOULD not...
And it worked, it got stronger... Jake allowed himself a moment of internal celebration... but that was a moment to long.
THUNKCRACKTHWACKCRACKTHUNK... SPLAT.
What... splat? Jake didn't really want to know.
"Owwwww..." he moaned, knowing where he'd gone wrong.
