Daphne stood up to actually look at Celandine as she retold her story, not wanting to be too rude. A hand managed to reach her open mouth in slow motion, aware she was looking like an idiot as she gawked at Cela.

Just like muggle movies.

Turning to the clerk, Daphne raised a finger to give some kind of bossy order but only managed to stutter then wave her off to finish bagging their purchase. "That's..." very cunning, in fact, thought Daphne briefly before her mind was brought back to the kissing subject and how it was Celandine and Plymouth Morgan. What was her world coming to? "A brilliant idea," finished Daphne and waved the clerk away once more, irritation sneaking into her shocked face. "You heard her. We'll be buying everything." Now, shoo!

Taking a deep breath, Daphne attempted to absorb Celandine's Candy Kisses Theory. It worked fine, if you thought of it from Celandine's perspective who for her, candy was a big part of who she was. For Daphne, however, it really wasn't hitting home.

"Alright," drawled Daphne nervously twirling a lock of her hair around her finger. "I understand..." kinda. "Thing is...Morgan?!" squeaked Daphne loudly, inadvertently tugging on her hair. Groaning in pain she released her hair which had become tangled from rapid finger movement. "I mean...That's great, Celandine. " Right? "However..." Nicholai is going to have a brotherly tantrum of epic proportions when he finds out. "You should be careful not to do a whole lot of research," nodded Daphne along, placing one hand on Cel's arm. "Like you said, it can be addicting...addictions aren't healthy."

The whole girlfriend bit--Daphne chose to ignore for the time for her well being. It was--irritating, and making her left brow twitch for unknown reasons. She much rather think of the ribbon. "Excuse me," she called out to the clerk irately, taking out her frustration on her. "Are you done? We're kind of in a hurry."
