Ama!Nabs IS NAMED MINHO & Is SO Black Panther Right Now
Daphne mused over the prices of the ribbon. Considering it wasn't even top notch quality, Gladrags was overpricing them. Miss Hopton almost had the mind to tell them so--almost. Instead, she continued to measure out the ribbon against her arm, and making a sort of lasso with it in her hand. Slowly, little by little, she wasn't realizing she was taking everything.
"Hmm, what was that again, Cel?" spoke Daphne holding up the ribbon to her eyes for closer inspection. "Who kissed who? And then it wasn't?" Daphne tilted her head at Celandine, not quite comprehending what the girl was trying to tell her. "You really shouldn't jumble all your words together like that...All of it?!" exclaimed Daphne with a yelp. "Wouldn't that be overdoing it? What can we do with all the ribbon? It's not like you're out to impre--"
Hmm. Wait a stinking flobberworm minute. Daphne took two steps towards Celandine and stared at her dubiously. Backtracking on their conversation, Daphne tried to make sense of Cel's jumbled words.
Plymouth wrote her a poem. She had asked Cela why would Morgan even do that and Cel had said...because...kissed...first...said it wasn't.
Although, it wasn't enough to form an entire sentence, it was enough to make Daphne reach out for the counter, clench it with her might and, bang her head once against it. "Celandine...what do you mean....kissed?" If she was lucky, Cel's idea of kiss was far-fetched and peculiar.
Like, swapping straws or something.
