Especially at the mention of Plymouth Morgan. "Morgan," spoke Daphne with a chuckle, hooking an opaque creme and gold stripy ribbon with her finger. "That boy--has he finally gotten rid of that unsightly ear hair?" squeaked the girl frowning down at what seemed a defective piece of merchandise. Promptly, she released it. "I thought I'd have coronary--" cut off by Celandine's exclamation, Daphne gasped and reached out to touch the ribbon as well. "That's the one!" declared Daphne positively. "We should get enough for both of us..." stopping short, she blushed and smiled sinking into her shrugging shoulders. "That is...if you want...we can always keep looking for one that suits your tastes better..."
"It did look a bit horrible." Cela agreed, "But he was still Plymouth underneath all of that. He..." Celandine hesitated, "He... wrote me a poem." Celandine immediately focused all her attention on the pink hair ribbon and nodded in agreement, "Oh it would be so neat to have the same hair ribbons!"
Then Daphne Hopton would be stuck having Celandine Toussaint as her friend for life.
