Freya looked up from her pudding, "I have an actual family now, Nathaniel. My mother is go--I don't live with her anymore." I used to eat blood sausage, haggis, brain...even tongue. It's what I grew up eating, so I don't think it's gross at all." 'Unlike that granola...blah!' "It's not like my mother and I went to a general store to get what we needed either. Usually we had to hunt, which I didn't mind." She stopped talking, her mind had wandered off.
"Noor is doing well. She's becoming a little more active. I wonder if we'll be allowed to take our animals with us after we leave...?" Freya scowled a little bit at Nathaniel. "Yes, I'm fond of all my animals thank you very much. Considering they were some of the only source of company I had when I was younger." She ate a spoonful of pudding, 'It's not bad.' "How is your back? Aside from being functional again."
