She giggled slightly at his comment about being a big softy. Yes, there were times when she could tell why people would think he's so tough and such - but then again, here he was, spilling out part of his heart.

"Don't worry. Your big softy secret is safe with me. Though I'm sure you've entrusted others with it, I'll go with it right now."

She watched him purse his lips together in a restraint of a smile. It was working, and she knew it. His hand was so soft against her skin, and she took a deep breath before continuing.

"Something tells me you've got a few things on your mind."

Maddox again nodded his head in agreement. "Exactly. You understand me so well." He grinned.

Mads smiled at her giggle. It was very cute, and sounded similar to a chime in the wind. He grinned at her comment and said, "Only a select few. That means your special." He whispered and chuckled.

He quickly took her hand in his free one, looking at them, and started playing with her fingers. "That I do. Though I wonder how you will react to it." He grinned, still looking at there intertwining hands.
