Maddox smirked slightly when she placed her hand on his knee. This was going exactly how he wanted it to go. He just grinned at her comment and kissed the top of her head gently, decieding to move onto the next subject.
He grinned at her comment and replied, "Honesty is a very good thing. I would rather you be honest with me, then for you to lie to me." Hoping he gave her a little insight into the way he worked. He didnt like liars. No, he didnt tolerate liars, was more like it. He grinned at her description of him and replied, "Well all those things are nice in a person, but can you have a good conversation with someone that is charming, nice, fun to be with, and handsome. Personally, I am not the 'what you see is what you get' type person. Many people think of me as a meat head when they first see me. But once they get to know me, they come to find out that I am much, much more intelligent then a rock." He grinned.
He smiled and said, "I'm glad your comfortable." He slowly pushed the hair away from her neck, with his free hand, and gently kissed her right at her jawline, just below her ear. Just once. Enough to get her pulse racing, that was for sure.
"I don't think it's fair to judge others before knowing them enough," Karma said, still tracing patterns on his knee.
"What you see is what you get is actually, extremely boring."
She smirked at that one. If only he knew what she meant by that. There were many details about each other that was left to be discovered.
"Many people aren't what they seem on the outside, either."
Definitely true. She liked talking to Maddox - he was a very intelligent person. And their conversation was going very well. His charm was very welcome to her, seeing as how the only other one to charm her was Emiliano lately. He mentioned that he was glad she was comfortable. That's when it hit her - her heart started pounding harder. He had moved her hair, and kissed her jawline. Now THAT, she knew, was pure guts. This was when she started to play her games.
"Well now Maddox," she said, smirking.
Her arm moved from his knee to his face and traced along his own jaw line, then she outlined his lips gently with her finger. She moved up slightly to kiss him just near his mouth to make him melt slightly.
"Two can play this game," she whispered.
