Yikes. Did that really come out of her mouth? Yes, indeed it had. Oh well. It's not like she could take it back now, nor did she regret saying it.

"You know what I've noticed?" she said, drawing on his knee. "I've become a lot more honest now that you're around. I just can't keep my mouth shut. And this boy, oh he's very charming. Very nice too, and he's so fun to be with. Very handsome too."

Maddox smirked slightly when she placed her hand on his knee. This was going exactly how he wanted it to go. He just grinned at her comment and kissed the top of her head gently, decieding to move onto the next subject.

He grinned at her comment and replied, "Honesty is a very good thing. I would rather you be honest with me, then for you to lie to me." Hoping he gave her a little insight into the way he worked. He didnt like liars. No, he didnt tolerate liars, was more like it. He grinned at her description of him and replied, "Well all those things are nice in a person, but can you have a good conversation with someone that is charming, nice, fun to be with, and handsome. Personally, I am not the 'what you see is what you get' type person. Many people think of me as a meat head when they first see me. But once they get to know me, they come to find out that I am much, much more intelligent then a rock." He grinned.

He smiled and said, "I'm glad your comfortable." He slowly pushed the hair away from her neck, with his free hand, and gently kissed her right at her jawline, just below her ear. Just once. Enough to get her pulse racing, that was for sure.
