She waited patiently as Dom did the final sketch, 5 million thoughts running through her brain. And yay, it was her turn. She stepped up the telescope and turned it a bit until she found an angle she liked. She drew her final sketch, taking a bit of time to give it extra detail, seeing as it was the last one and all. When she was done, she put it aside and took down her last set of notes.
Wow. She was done. How...weird. She wasn't sure why, but it definitely seemed weird. Maybe because she was kind of worried that now that they were done, Dominic would turn back into his regular mean self. Hopefully he wouldn't. "Well, um, thank you for letting me use your telescope. And for letting me tag along. I really appreciate it", she said with a sort of cautious affection. "I guess I'll see you around?" Dominic smiled slyly at her defensive remark when he snapped at her for using magic to sound-proof the house. Especially at her response with how her sanity was at stake; oh man, was she delusional! "Emergency situation?" he repeated, arching a brow, before continuing. "Honestly Camira, you sure your sanity wasn't lost before you went to New Orleans?" He poked his tongue out at her. She was fun to tease.
Watching her finish up her last sketches, he leaned casually up against the balcony railing, watching her work mostly. For someone who didn't 'like' Astronomy, she worked quite efficiently with subject and he was impressed. Finally she was done and handed his scope back to him. Slipping it into his bag, he glanced back at her casually, noticing the way the setting sun made her shine blacker. It was kind of mesmerizing. Although something Dominic Denton would never admit. "Oh really, not a problem," he smiled weakly at her, shaking the thoughts from his mind. No, he couldn't be giving in. Not possible as he was DOMINIC. Dominic Denton. Anti-females. "Um yes, see you around," he replied back, slinging the bag over his shoulder as he led the way down from the Owlery. Best to get out of the blinding sunset.
