He sat picked his backpack and Aimirgin up "I've got to get him back to his cage and go journal.I'll see you later Freya." he would have hugged her by but knew better. He headed towards Aimirgins cage with a limp.
Nathaniel go to Aimirgins cage and put him back in "Well little dude I've got to go work on homework. I'll be back later okay? he said as he filled the water bowl up in the cage."We will have to work on your little nest dude. I'll talk to Professor Morgan about it.I'll see you later." he latched the cage and headed out of the building.
Freya nodded as Nathaniel made his leave, then turned her attention back to Noor. "
You've got to wake up sometime." Freya said quietly and lifted up her knarl gently, and brushing off some of the shavings. Hmm, did Noor look slightly bigger today? No. That would be waaaay too fast.
She brought Noor over to the pen outside, and allowed the little knarl to play in the setting sun, which was still providing a good amount of warmth to the grounds. As Freya watched, Noor play, she began to write a few quick notes in her book for reference. Noor continued to waddle around the ground, every so often digging a little at the dirt with what little strength she had. Freya chuckled a little bit and observed, she had never dealt with something as small as a baby knarl before, so she made sure to be extra careful.
After a few minutes, the temperature dropped a little bit, so Freya picked up Noor and brought her back inside the nursery. She allowed the knarl to rest inside of her inner cloak pocket while the cage was being cleaned and new shavings were being applied.
"You're a silly goose. Did you know that?" Freya said as she removed the knarl from her pocket and stroked it's little, delicate head.
'Babys always have to sleep, but Noor will become more active once she is older. That's usually how it works with most animals anyway...sort of.'
Freya placed, Noor back inside the clean cage and cut up a few small vegetables. First some shaved carrot, which Noor seemed to like from the amount that had been eaten overnight. Then a tiny slice of apple that had been diced up, and a couple of lettuce leaves, and some formula that Freya had found in the supply cabinet for very young animals.
'Maybe she still has trouble eating solids...' She cleaned out the water dish and refilled it, halfway this time so that Noor wouldn't dump it all over the cage like she had the day before.
Freya removed her gloves after she placed Noor back into the cage, and inside the box that had been placed there for an extra safe feeling. She didn't want to take any chances with an animal with spines, even if they were just an adorable little baby. Freya locked the door to the cage and made her way out of the nursery, after one last glance to make sure nothing was forgotten.
