Okay, one quick peek over his shoulder confirmed he should make it more TWO HUNDRED. But who was counting, right?
Colouring slightly, he sidled in front of Hufflepuff's hourglass, effectively blocking Vannie's view. Mwaha. Instead, he waved to her slightly in greeting ...even though she was standing right in front of him. ...okay. 'Hey yourself, Vanessa. How've you been?' Hugging her warmly, he smiled down at her, flicking several strands out of his eyes. 'Did I tell you? About how I've got to return to muggle London for this weekend? Eh, apparently my parents are having a do-over, for some family. Family I haven't even met yet. Some aunt and uncle from my dad's side!' His lower lip pushed out slightly in a pout, and his blue eyes widened in a blatant plea for help. "20?" Vanessa asked, raising her eyebrow. Surely he knew how to count right? Or was he just being stupid. Stepping closer, she took a closer inspection of the hourglasses. "I think you will find that we are 154 points ahead," She smirked, as she looked up at him. She most definetly had him owned now. There wasn't much he could say, because she was actually speaking about something that was true.
She stared at him as he moved, but then she cottoned on. With him standing in front of her like that, she couldn't see the hufflepuff hourglass. Oh he was sly. "I still know We're ahead of you," She smirked as she looked up at him. But then her features softned and she hugged him in return.
"Ooooh You do?" She asked, with a apologetic smile. He'd only just come here, and he was going again. Actually as she thought about it, she was going home at the weekend for some family thing. That was rather coincidental. "You know....thinking about it. My mum's taking me to meet some family too," She added, with a grin. "Odd right?"
