Mariel was again startled, this time as Lasca grabbed her hand as she went to leave. Her face fell as she listened to her words. She felt extremely guilty for putting the focus on herself when it was Lasca who should have been attended to; that was not her intention at all. Mariel bit her lower lip as she watched Lasca who was obviously in more pain. Tentatively she lowered herself into the seat across from the two Ravenclaws, unsure of what to do. She still felt somewhat uncomfortable, but didn't want anyone to feel bad if she left. Feeling it was probably best to stay put to make sure Lasca was okay as was the original plan, she glanced up towards the nurse as she attended another patient.
Lasca nodded at her friend's words. They were friends and she was very happy to have a friend as wonderful as Mariel. She felt really selfish trying to keep them both there but, at the moment she really didn't care.

When Mariel stand up, he felt a little unconfortable because they are best friends and he went between they.
"Mariel. If you want to stay with Lasca. Just say it and I go. Because you are best friends" said he honestly to her.
The young Ravenclaw smiled at his explanation. He was being very gallant and it made her feel, cherished. Okay, maybe not the best word but it was the best she could come up with at the moment. That's when Damian's next words registered.
Lasca groaned. Now she had made Damian feel uncomfortable. Where was the nurse, before she caused anymore problems? Lasca closed her eyes tight and tried to fight through the pain. She was being a bother and making her friends feel awkward. Sighing she decided that there was no help for it, there was nothing she could do in her current state. As if to prove her point her head gave another stab of pain. She burrowed her head in Damian's shoulder and gasped. Fresh tears watered her eyes, and was it her? Or did the pain seem to be getting worse? She couldn't think anymore past the stabbing aching, what had they been talking about?
