Lasca felt awful, all she wanted to do was go back to sleep. She felt herself being lifted and before she knew it was in Damian's lap. While this might not have been proper at the moment she really didn't care. Sighing, she closed her eyes and relaxed as best she could.

Without looking up she posed a question that was nagging her mind. "Why are you being so nice to me? We have only just met." She liked Damian. He was nice, thoughtful, and a good guy. She also thought is was rather dashing but she would keep that to herself. But, all of what he had done was going way beyond the normal. He was acting like they had known each other for years. She had to admit she was comfortable with him. Sighing, the confused Ravenclaw awaited his answer.

Mariel looked up and watched with concerned interest as the nurse came over and gave the Ravenclaw boy a vial that he then gave to Lasca. As the boy addressed her, Mariel looked up and gave him a small smile. "No problem. She's my friend," Mariel told him simply. "And I'm Mariel," she added as he introduced himself. "Do you think she'll be alright?"

The young Ravenclaw watched as her fellow housemate woke up and groggily made her way to the corner as she promptly got sick. Putting her hand gently on her shoulder as she sat back down next to her, Mariel was slightly startled as Damian then pulled Lasca onto his lap. It wasn't long before she felt extremely awkward and uncomfortable, much like.... what was that Muggle phrase that she had read about? a third wheel? yes, that.

Getting up from her seat, she said, "I, um... just wanted to make sure you were okay, Lasca. The nurse will check you out and I'm sure that Damian can see you back to the common room." She nodded in his direction. Blushing slightly in her awkwardness, she slowly said, "I'll, um... see you... later." Then she headed towards the door, figuring she could get her homework done, or something along those lines.
