He smiled, she was an overachiever too. Then he thought about her question. "I'm well. Kinda excited. I mean this is my last term." He would be out in the real world soon enough. Hopefully fighting evil wizards. Realizing he didnt have his parchment or quil out yet he grabbed his bag and riffled through it.

He found a some parchment and grabbed his quil. It was made from a phoenix feather. Very expensive, and very beautiful.

Camira raised a brow. Wow. She wasn't that much of a morning person. "So that's how you keep up that body of yours", she said in understanding. "Maybe you can take me with you one morning", she said half-jokingly. She did like to jog, but she was quite sure she could keep up with him, especially not for a half an hour.

Her smile faltered as his words. She'd completely forgotten he was a 7th year. "That's right. I forgot", she said simply. She needed to stop making friends with people who would be leaving. It was like starting over again every year, making new friends cause her old ones were gone. It could be a bit depressing really.

She eyed his quill as he took it out. It was very nice. She looked at her own quill, white Hippogriff feather intertwined with the elusive silver-blue Ostrich plume, which somehow paled in comparison to his. "Beautiful quill", she said sincerely, only a tiny bit jealous that she didn't have one.

She opened her textbook, figuring that she might as well do some extra studying while they waited for class to start. She really wanted to delve deeper into the five Principal Exceptions to Gamp’s Law of Elemental Transfiguration. See if there was a way to go around them.
