Mari instantly recognized Lyra from their class together, but what she wasn't recognizing was the girl putting her arm around Roberts. What's this? She thought, trying to keep her face from showing the flash of intense jealousy she felt at the moment. She arched a brow as Lyra lay her head on Roberts shoulder. He moved pretty fast for being so..so upset with her just a few days ago.

Cayden chuckled at lyra's comment as he gave her a much more willing smile." Hey Lyra. Seen peeves yet?" he asked as he figured it would of been on the top of her list.

Mari looked over at Cayden, not actually hearing his words until he spoke about racing her to the second floor. " Maybe, you know I can be fast when I want to be." She said, smiling at him even though she was still irked with Robert. She moved closer to Cayden then, her hand brushing against his as she heard Robert speak again.

"Lyra wants to know if you'd like to work on your History homework with us since we basically already stared in class?"

" Oh, well, sure we can do that. I'll meet you there a bit later, i've got to go get my notes from the class if we're going to do that." She said, smiling at him even though in truth she wanted to smack him upside the head for making this more awkward than it had to be. " I'll meet you two in the library," She said, smiling as if she were totally fine with Lyra being so...close to him even though she most definitely wasn't.
