Mari took a breath and let it out slowly before she answered Kayla with a half shrug. " I've been alright...better." She said with a hint of meaning. Kayla nodded getting the girls meaning immediately. "ah yes I guess I can understand that" she shifted uncomfortably on her feet. How did one go about broaching a rather sensitive topic. In her own Kayla fashion, just come right out with it. "Uh...Nicholai told me what happened between you two" there she had said it, now she would have to see what was going to happen.
She looked down at the badge pinned to her robes for a second. "Uh yeah" really what else was she supposed to say. Most of the time she forgot she was a Prefect.
