Kayla entered the owlery with letter in hand, she was too busy looking for her owl Cleo that she didn't take any notice of anyone else in the vicinity. Before she could even call her, Cleo was upon her shoulder and it always made Kayla chuckle that her owl always knew when she was needed. "Hello my beautiful girl" she murmured. She placed the envelope in Cleo's beak. "Take this to Nico, for me please" she said giving the owl a gentle stroke before carrying her to the window and watching her take flight.
