Mariel walked through the dungeon corridor with excitement mixed with slight apprehension. Potions was her favorite class but she wasn't completely sure who'd be teaching it this term. As she stepped into the classroom, her eyes grew wide as they followed the many fluttering butterflies around the room.

Finally making her way to the very front of the room as she distractedly followed the butterflies, she finally noticed the adult in front of her. "Oh! Hello, Professor.." she exclaimed, beaming up at him. "..er, I mean Headmaster. I was so worried that you might not be teaching this class with all the new teachers around. Oh, and congratulations, by the way... for your new appointment, I mean." Blushing slightly as she realized that she was rambling quite a bit, Mariel promptly closed her mouth and pulled out her textbook.
