Ameera was fiddling with her arithmancy textbook when the hufflepuff girl sitting next to her had noticed her presence. Turning her head towards the girl she returned the smile saying "Hello!" "Im Miranda BelCanto" she shook Ameera's hand. She hadn't taken this class before either! Miranda felt relieved, maybe they could help eachother, this seemed like a difficult class. Numbers... Math wasn't Miranda's best subject...
Just as she was about to answer the Gryffindor girl, the professor made her way towards the circle and began to talk.
Miranda could only shake her head and grimace, hoping she had gotten the message that she too had no idea what Arithmancy was going to be like.
As Proffessor Shackleton stopped, Miranda nodded having understood the information.
