Jake still notice that her smile wasnt really a happy one and he felt even worse, he really must have put his foot in his mouth to have gotten her like that. A picture of his home and family popped up in his mind and he shook to clear it ugh Im being stupid, I wouldnt lead to that he said to himself feeling all the presure of his home coming back. "ummm I didnt mean now just soon" he said. He sighed "Im sorry Amy" he looked at her and gave her a small smile.
Amy was somewhat taken back by Jakes’apologies. Wow does my bogus smile look that noticeable, she found herself thinking. She shook herself mentally trying to push off the mood that gloomed over. Then as quickly as it had came it was gone.
She raised a single finger to Jakes lips. “Shhhh,” she said gently. “Really its okay forget about it,” she said producing a genuine smile. “I am just –she faltered mid sentence- umm well.” She shrugged as she waved her hands around for a brief moment, “A little unstable…no that’s not a good word, it makes me sound crazy…ummm….well you know what I mean right.” She looked at Jake hoping that he did not think she was as crazy as she herself felt she was.
