He kept his head in his arms, not moving, looking at anyone or speaking until he heard Elizabeth speak. "What I show a general interest and you act like I've spoken some language no ones heard or grown another head." He shook his head, "It was a nutral topic and I was trying to relax but since apparently I'm not allowed to ask questions of things that I don't know anything about...I'll just sit here." Placing his head back in his arms he closed his eyes with a sigh and focused on drowning everyone out. Elizabeth's eyes grew even wider when Robert took her questions the wrong way. "I'm sorry," she said, still mystified. "I couldn't figure out why you would choose that to ask about, that's all. Even if it was a neutral topic, I'd think someone would have chosen one they could actually talk about." Since he had put his head down on the table, she glanced at the back of his head for a second, then realized they had been dismissed from the feast.
Glancing once again at Mari and Ludo, she stood up, ignoring the tiny mountain of shredded bread on her plate, along with the barely touched chicken. "I think I'm just going to go," she said softly, before grabbing an apple and a couple of chocolate chip cookies from the table. She knew she would probably get hungry later. And then, still feeling extraordinarily awkward, she turned and started heading out of the Great Hall.
