The summer had felt like forever, mostly due to her horrible hospital stay. "Did you have a nice, endless summer?" she asked, chuckling. She bet his was far better than hers.
Robert laughed as she spoke loudly and followed her eyes down toward her bandaged hand. With a grimace he asked, "What'd you do there?" Hearing her question he chuckled and shook his head, "It was...something." Compared to his others this summer was a lot better. Perhaps his father was giving up.... He looked thoughtful for a second and smiled. "I much prefer the school year anyway."

Robert watched as Paris put her hands on her hips and stared at him. "Yeah well..." he clenched his jaw on his words.
Don't really want another reaming from Elizabeth or house points taken... He sighed and just let Paris continue on, "Whatever, I don't care. Just run along you impossible child and go plan more pranks, or tricks, or whatever it is you lot are doing." He sat back in his seat intent on ignoring Paris and praying Elizabeth or Mariska or...somebody...would show up soon and drag Paris away or even distract him before he let her get to him.
