Daphne leaned over to hear what the boy was saying. The Great Hall was humming with excited chatter, it was tough to hear anybody not right beside you. She smiled as she caught what he said. "Ugh, you have no idea!" she said quite loudly, shaking her head. Her eyes wandered towards her right hand, bandaged and a little sore. The summer had felt like forever, mostly due to her horrible hospital stay. "Did you have a nice, endless summer?" she asked, chuckling. She bet his was far better than hers.
