"Hmmm," Adrianna agreed, her eyes beginning to close. "We're never going to get separated this way," she said softly, relaxing into Gabe's warm and supportive chest. His gentle playing with her hair caused an occasional tug on her scalp, which was a strange sensation, but not a bad one- it actually felt good.
