"Aha, this is a very good point about this charm, but keep thinking as to other ways this charm applies to cheese."

For stinky cheese, simply taking away the odor makes its possible to eat it or cook with it, without having to hold your nose throughout the process." she laughed quietly and tossed her now unnecessary tissue into her bag.

"Also, it could come in very useful during potion brewing. There are often some awful smelly ingredients that we are required to work with. This would help with that. Maybe even to take away the smell of a potion all together." she added.
"You bring up an excellent point and the one that I was mostly thinking of - using this charm allows you to eat pungent cheeses without being disgusted by the smell, but still allowing you to enjoy the flavor of a well-aged cheese! And your application to potion brewing is very original! One point to you!"

"
Then she added.
"And if you have stinky socks, you can use that spell and say to your mother that you already washed them. Oh, and some people might get nauseous if they smell a certain smell, and if you use the charm they won't."
"Imaginative application! Who are you surprising with stinky cheese?" Macadrian laughed before continuing, "Oh, I do like your idea of not letting the stinkiness of the cheese hide the lovely scents that may be in the nearby vicinity. A very good point. And you've provided other great examples, though I hope you don't like to your parents often!" Macadrian winked and added, "One point to you!"

"As for ways it would help us with items other than cheese, I guess it would make things more tolerable to be around. I mean, who wants to constantly smell something that is rotten or nasty? It would surely help make things easier to be around," she finished.
"A very insightful point! Repelling insects from foods would be an excellent usage of this charm. One point to you!"

"Removing the odor from smelly cheeses would allow one to consume the cheese without being distracted from its rancid smell."
Dominic suggested, before turning his focus back to the cheese.
"Very practical application of the charm to cheese! One point for your effort!"

Sapphire knew that she would probably be ridaculed amoung the other Slytherin's for this question but in her mind she thought to her self "someone could easily do that as a mean prank"
"Avoiding the mice and rats is certainly a good idea for this charm. As for your question, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are you implying that blind people smell? Otherwise, I don't suppose there would be any reason to use it on a blind person over any other person. Hmm." Macadrian was pretty sure she was simply missing the meaning of the girl's question. Perhaps she meant 'how would blind people find their cheese without the smell'?

"Excellent idea about the odor from one food tainting another. One point to you!"

She remembered her uncle Tenebrius being so sick that he couldn't stand any strong odors around him... certainly not this foul smelling cheese that she had just neutralized the smell.
"Very true! Sounds like you're still thinking along medical purposes of magic, like your last lesson! One point to you!"

Stepping back to the front of the room, Professor Shackleton announced, "Alright. I think that is enough of the Anti-Odor Charm for now. The room smells much better than it did before, so I assume you all have accomplished your goals. Time to move on to the next charm, whose incantation is 'Firmus lac lactis.' Any guesses what this charm might do? Keep in mind, this whole lesson pertains to cheese in some way." Mainly because all I can do is think of food twenty four hours a day...
