Theodore deciding to take matter into his own hand glided up to the Headmaster's office. He slid through the empty hearth and was confronted by the same scene he thought he'd just left. Professor Airlia, Madame Noire and the young ghost, Marcella, along with the Professor's elf assistant, were explaining what they had found in the book. The book lay upon the Headmaster's desk and all eyes turned towards him as he floated into the center of the room.
"Headmaster, sir, I must protest against what these ghosts are suggesting." He looked around to each of them feeling their glares as he said his piece, "I understand the lure of wanting to return to what they once had, I would be mistaken to say that I haven't given the idea some though myself. What I wouldn't give to be able to smell the freshly cut grass of a Quidditch pitch, feel the cool breeze blow past my face while chasing the snitch, hear it's struggling wings beat inches from my grasp as it attempts to remain free." He held up the ghostly snitch that followed him into his eternity.
"But I have also thought about the repercussions from what they are proposing too, sir. We don't know if this book's potions are safe, remember from where this book comes, what powers it holds, what if it leads to additional deaths or worse......" Theodore stopped his rant, trying to get a feel for how the Headmaster might lean, hoping he'd back him.
