And the frog was right on top--of course, that made sense. She DID love the frogs, after all, it would be the perfect trap for her. And he set it right on top to make sure she didn't miss it. He shook his head again. "You have no idea where he went?" he asked her again. Oh how he wanted to get his hands on that traitor before a professor did.
Now he was faced with a difficult problem...dealing with Anna. He wasn't about to let her wander the school going on about roses and frogs and Nicky, not in her current state. But he wasn't sure who he should go to first, and which professor would be safest. He could always take her to Trelawney, but after Anna's last meeting with her he doubted she would be safe there. Besides, some part of his brain was warning him not to go there right now--he wasn't sure why but for some reason, as he toyed with the idea of taking her to the intern, he got a funny feeling in his stomach and he moved on to the next professor. Maybe Caleum would be alright...
"Maybe we should get you out of here," he mumbled, grabbing her hand.
"You know," Anna said, twirling around three more times the second he let go of her. "Nicky was still down at the lake when I left to come here. He said he had to go, so I left, too. I was wandering around here when you found me. I think I was heading back up to the Common Room, but come to think of it now, I'm not really sure where I was heading. Funny, huh?"
Anna blinked and wrinkled her brows when Cale told her they should leave. "Really? Why?" Anna asked, giggling for no apparent reason at her own question. Nothing was funny at all, and even Anna knew that, but for some reason she just felt like giggling.
"I looooove chocolate frogs, Cale. Did you know that?" she asked, getting a dreamy look on her face once again. "They smell like Wonder Witch products! ...and THAT is one of my favorite smells
ever!" Anna twirled two more times, and on the last attempt, she twirled right into Cale, falling into him and giggling at how clumsy she'd been. "Oops! Silly me! I'm just too giddy for my own good!" she exclaimed, taking in a deep sigh and letting it out slowly.
