Anna's face lit up when he said he would have the notes ready for her in his office. "Oh, professor!" Anna shrieked, so excited she nearly hugged him. She had been a little nervous to ask him, because she'd never asked for a pass to get into the restricted section before. It had turned out to be a lot easier than she thought. "Thank you so much, sir! I'll be there tomorrow after my first class to pick it up. Nicholai will be so pleased, as well!"
"I'm leaving to head back to the school now," she added. "Thank you so much, once again! I'll see you tomorrow!"
She turned and headed towards the door, but before she walked all the way out, she decided to give him a parting comment about Professor Brooks. "Oh, and Professor, things always have a funny way of working out in the longrun. Hang in there," she said.
Caleum smiled at Anna as she was excited. He always had a soft spot for seeing students happy at times and this was one of them. "You are welcome," he spoke of not only the chocolate frogs but for the notes as well. He gave a wave with his free hand as he walked up to the counter and paid for the abundance of chocolate frogs.
But then he looked up as she began speaking once again, this time it was about Sophie. He placed a smile on his lips but it was more of a forced smile than anything else. And with a nod of his head he couldn't help but think of the words then stored them to the side. It was something he would think about later. Everything was said that needed to be said in the end, there was nothing more either of them could do. Complicated relationships was were he really didn't want to end up, but was there anyway.
He paid for the frogs then disappeared behind the door and back to the school.
