Not now...maybe not ever. Maybe Allie would have pity on her and go buy her a few before the weekend was up.
"Oh, I just...you know...wanted to try something new," she finally replied. "Chocolate frogs are my favorite, though. They always have been, and they always will. I just...needed some acid pops today." She smiled to hopefully cover up any more confusion, then turned to pay for the acid pops.
When she was done, she turned back around to Cale. "Everything's...pretty much the same. Same as when I talked to you up on the seventh floor corridor. Oh, and even better news! I'm failing Arithmancy. Great...really great, huh?" she asked.
He chuckled to himself. "So, you're failing Arithmancy and I'm failing Herbology. Great. Just greatttttttt, maybe we'll have getting held back a grade to add to the list of delightful, cheery things that have happened to us this term," he joked with a sigh, although part of him was serious as well.
He looked at her suspiciously again through his bangs. "Are you sureeeeee everything is ok? You seem like something is bugging you. Is it Seth?" he asked, his name coming out a bit more hopeful than he would have liked. Oops. Why didn't he just shout to everyone in the Great Hall that he was counting down the days until Seth dumped Anna? Or visa versa.
