If only it were that easy, though. Of course she had to whirl around so quickly that she ended up dumping all her acid pops to the ground right at his feet. "Erm, sorry," she mumbled, bending down and picking them all up. "I was just paying for my erm...What did she pick up earlier? Oh...yeah. acid pops." For added effect, she held up one in the air and then placed it onto the counter with the other five.
"So, yeah...hi," she said. "Sorry about dumping those on your feet, by the way." Hmm..should she break the news to him now or wait until later? She wanted to tell him now..she needed to tell him now...but truth to be told, she was a coward about the situation. She'd wait a few minutes...and THEN she would tell him. He deserved to know after all.
"Acid pops? But...I thought you liked Chocolate Frogs?" he said in confusion, wrinkling his eyebrows. Had Anna really changed that much since they had been together? She didn't even like the same sweets anymore? Ohmigosh, his whole world was just falling apart!
Something else seemed to be troubling her--not nerves, no, even though she was obviously nervous about being around him there was something else that was bugging her. She seemed kind of jumpy. Like she was hiding something. Oh lordy, if she announced that she was engaged to Seth, Cale might just die. Right there in Honeydukes.
"Erm, is everything ok?" he asked.
