Lizzie stopped and looked up at the woman.
"Oh thank god" she said, now a bit more calmed down.
"I'm sorry, it's just that my friend's really bad, bleeding and all, and the nurse in the waiting room just didn't seem to have time to examine her or anything, and..." She stopped, realising she was talking too fast again. She blushed slightly and continued, slower;
"Yes, miss. I've already put her on a bed 'cause she couldn't stand up. But I'll wait right there for you. And once again, sorry." She walked fast back towards Erica. She stood there beside the bed and waited, nervous. She felt bad for calling out for the nurse like that, but she had been really scared. Now she could do nothing but wait...
