Cassandra walked into the waiting room, hoping it'd be empty. No such luck.

"It isn't," she said raising an eyebrow, "I'll take care of her, Nurse Numel." She said summoning a chair to examine the girl's foot. "Let's see if I can impart any medical wisdom. You walked here alone. You aren't in tears and there is no bruising." She gave the Gryffindor brat a glare.

"It's a sprain. Now if you and that Hufflepuff would have watched where you were going, you wouldn't have been here, now would you." she said as she summoned an unction from the cabinet and applied it to the child's ankle.

"There... that should do it... but I'm going to immobilize your leg so you dont hurt it anymore while it's healing." She poited at the girl's ankle and said "Petrificus, ankle." The charm worked fast. "The charm will wear off after a week, and you should be as good as... what you were before." She said and stood. "Do you need an escort back to your common room? I can summon a prefect if you need." Cassandra said levitating the unction back to it's proper spot.
