Alex smiled. "Well, what would you prefer... wolf? blood hound? or a cuter animal?" she asked him, smiling. Her green eyes sparkled with laughter, and she could only hope that she would actually be able to help out Chad. "Oh! Sorry, I'm Alex," she said, taking his hand and shaking it warmly. "I just started here as well... and I love it so far! Granted the birds weren't so nice this morning... but I have a bargaining chip," she said with a grin. Suddenly, she saw his wand and watched him perform a spell. When he continued, she sighed. "Well, now I don't get to show off," she joked. She blinked at the sight of his offered arm, and felt her cheeks redden ever so slightly. "Sounds good to me," she said quickly, and gently took his arm. "So, seems you already know some magic... how did you learn that?" she asked him, curious.
