So today was the last Hogsmead visit; And of course, what is a Hogsmead visit without a huge fight between me and my girlfriend. Seems like every time we see each other at Hogsmead we have a fight.

We were fighting about why I had been changing the subject everytime she asked me about my nightmares. I mostly wasn’t ready to tell her about them, and I was scared she would think I was a crazy malicious person or something.

I ended up telling her a nightmare about her. I could tell it scared her. But she told me she understood that I can’t control them.

I asked her if she wanted to hear the really bad one, and of course I told her. It was hard to relive. So hard in fact that I had to walk away from where we were sitting, in an area just off from the Hogwarts gates, so I could have a moment to myself. My emotions have been running high lately with the stress of my nightmares, and school and the anniversary of my father’s death still lingering over me. I don’t know why it affected me so badly this year.

Her reaction to my emotions was...well...perfect really. She came up behind me and gave me a hug, and told me everything would be ok. I just hope she’s right, and they start fading with time.

Anyways, off to get some homework done.

So quidditch finals were today. We huffies were hanging out in the locker room before the game started, and the girls decided to pin me down and give me a manicure. My nails now hove the letters L-I-M-A on them and a heart on my pinkies....its a good thing the badger colors are black and yellow other wise I would have hurt someone.

SO then the game was starting and I couldn’t very well get rid of the paint when we had to get on the field. I do have to say, we played a great game. We were up in points, but at the end it was Ravenclaw that was the fastest. They grabbed the snitch and won. Of course I had to make a joke of myself. It was the last quaffle right as the snitch was caught; I went to get a goal and didn’t realize how close I was to the goal post. Well needless to say I woke up alone in the locker room. Which isn’t very good due to the fact that I was in a coma last summer. But I didn’t tell anyone that, and I should have.

Anyways, after I woke up, I heard the party going on out side the broomshead so I headed over there. Apparently Lima was very worried about me, so much so she freaked out and yelled at Punz for just leaving me in the locker room. Which was ok with me, but that’s another story. Apparently she made punz feel really bad, which isn’t a good thing, Lima could have handled it better, but whatever.

Then Lima gave me a potion to make my headache go away which I was very thankful for. Even though now I feel a little light headed and kind of tipsy. I'm almost wondering if the punch was spiked. But then again I did suffer head trauma and that could be part of it. Anyway for the rest of the night Lima mothered me, which was kind of funny because I kept calling her mum. She slapped me with a spoon. HA!

So once the party ended I walked her to where the paths separated. Now...I’m going to bed.

Today has been a very interesting day. It all started in our DADA class. We were learning how to duel by using defensive spells. I figured it would be best if Nico and I were paired up, because of the fact that we went to Drumstrang and knew different spells, curses, and hexes then everyone else did; and of course, I wanted to beat the bloody crap out of Nico.

After class was over, we asked the professor if we could stay and have a duel of our own. The professor said we could stay as long as we liked. Finally...permission to have a real duel, not those wimpy duels they teach here. Of course he had to point out that my reflexes were off while we were practicing, which made me want to beat the crap out of him even more. But if we were going to do this, we were going to do it right. No fists involved.

The only rule Nico gave was, No unforgivables. This of course was fine with me. Personally, I only would use them if my life was in danger, hence using the cruciatus curse on Rudolphus just before I passed out and went into a coma. Anyways, so I went to the opposite corner and had my back to him as I removed my cloak and my watch. He said that I could go first and said, "...but that’s about as easy on you as I’m about to go." It made me a little angry that he thought I couldn’t handle fighting him. Boy was he going to get a shock.

My first move; I wiped around and threw a non-verbal striking hex at him. It wasn’t nearly as hard as it could have been, but it was a warning hit. Which of course he proceeded to tell me I hit like his mother which caught me off guard and got me thinking that he has actually been hit by his mother.

I, not realizing how quick Nico was, then got hit by the blindfolding hex, the joint in my right elbow was reversed, and my left arm went numb. I proceeded to do the counter curses or hex’s for each. While doing so Nico decided to send a stinging hex, which of course didn’t hurt since my arm was numb...retard...anyways, I then proceeded to send the hex that makes your shoes covered in stone, sent the same joint reversing hex at his knees, and sent the water conjuring spell to make him not so thirsty. Ha!

The joint reversing hex was deflected because he put up a protection spell right after I made his shoes stone, but he still was sputtering from the water that was coming from my wand. Though I noticed his clothes weren’t wet...strange really.

Then he proceeded to use the same striking hex to get rid of the stone around his shoes which sent bits of it flying in every direction, so I put up a shield charm to protect me from it. Then I received a couple hits from the striking hex he sent at me, and put my protection shield up, and felt the other blows, but not as hard as they are when you are actually being hit by them. Then the next thing I new...I was on the ground. I’m figuring Nico sent the slipping hex at me cuz there was no water on the ground and you can’t be stationary and the next moment on the floor. So I sent a flock of birds at him, the conjunctivitis curse blocking his vision, and the boil hex. He was only able to block the boil hex, and he deep fried my flock of birds.

The next thing I know, because I was laughing about the deep fried birds, I was flying through the air. Then, because I am a retard, I didn’t put my protection spell back up, and I was hanging in the air with lizards snapping at my face. I yelled impedimenta to get the buggers to slow down. Then I proceeded to roast the lizards to ashes, and got myself out of the air. At this point was Incredible Hulk like. I was very, very angry. I don’t handle my anger well, especially after the coma. I sent a non verbal; I guess you could call it a counter curse that Rudolphus taught me. It gets rid of any protection shields, and doesnt allow your opponent to have a shield for thirty seconds. In those thirty seconds I yelled at the top of my lungs, sectumsempra.

When Nico realized he couldn’t conjure a protection spell he took some potion. Once he got cut up on his arm, 2 very very deep gashes, I took a step back. I didn’t like how angry I had gotten. Apparently the potion that Nico took slowed down the blood from his gashes. Noting that I still had a protection shield around me he sent the slipping hex again, this time my left shoulder popped out of place, and a couple of my ribs broke. He made a statement about me slowing Rudolphus down. I was highly confused. Then he sent a gouging hex at me and an L shaped cut appeared on my right shoulder. Still wondering what he was talking about, and a little worried he might bleed out, I stood up, and sent a numbing hex to his arm that was bleeding, and just for fun...sent a really hard striking hex.

Then he said more about Rudolphus that confused me, "I mean, I expected him to put up more of a fight- not that I stuck around for long to test that theory out." What did he mean by that? I was very confused. But when Nico got the striking hex sent at him, he jumped up, did a protection shield, which was strong enough to send me flying backwards, and threw ropes at me.

Now that I was tied up, and happy to be lying down, as was Nico, he proceeded to make a deal. He would take the ropes off of me, and tell me about the situation with Rudolphus, as long as I promised not to proceed with the duel. Seeing as I was bleeding, had cracked ribs, and a dislocated shoulder, I happily agreed.

So he untied me and told me the story about Rudolphus. He visited his family during Easter for some party, and Rudolphus was there. Nico has a pre-arranged marriage, which he’s trying to get out of, and Rudolphus was messing with the girl, not surprised one bit about that, so Nico decided to come to her aid. Long story short, Nico ripped out Rudolphus' canines.

While listening to his story he gave me a potion for the pain, and also told me that I needed to keep a rein on my emotions and that I care too much and it’s very easy to make me angry. Of course I know all this. It’s hard for me not to be this way with all that I have had to endure in my life, but I wasn’t going to tell him that.

He also had a flask of firewhiskey, I was so happy when he shared it with me. Then he showed me the teeth. He made 2 necklaces out of some of the leather on my cloak. We put them on and decided that Rudolphus would freak if he knew that not only did Nico have one, but so did I.

Eventually we got up. Nico cleaned up all the blood and mess we made. He took me back to his dorm and fixed my ribs, dislocated shoulder, and my bleeding.

I’m not sure what Nico and I are now. We definantly aren’t enemies any longer; especially since we both know it wouldn’t be good to cross the other. You never know, we might become friends eventually. I know one thing....when Lima finds out....she will be furious.


Night



June 10 (12:05 am),


So I’ve been in this secret society right. It is 2 people from each house, a girl and a guy. We were brought together by other secret orders to find a treasure. Tonight was our first real meeting with the girls. We put all our answers to our riddle together and the treasure, we believe, is Hogwarts. Well, it is Hogwarts, because we had a specific letter we had to find in each of our letters. Mine was R. All the other letters ended up, along with mine, spelling Hogwarts.

Eventually we got the headmistress to come and help us with our plan. And to my surprise Cela, the only Ravenclaw first year girl I know, and whom is apart of the secret society, went to go get a sneaky Slytherin. Funny thing that sneaky Slytherin wasn’t just any sneaky Slytherin, it was the sneakiest...Nico. Who was also....Cela's brother. I was surprised; I didn’t think a sweet innocent girl like that could be Nico's sister. I just chuckled.

Eventually we came up with a plan to get Minister Cooper to get us back at Hogwarts next year. I'm hoping it will work. I haven’t been to Hogwarts, but from what I have heard, it’s a great place.

Anyways, I need to get some sleep, OWL's are this week and I need all the rest I can get.



June 15 (7:15 pm),


Oh finally I’m home and in my own bed! Lets see where should I start....Ah yes! The feast yesterday was amazing. They held it at Hogsmead, and it was co-ed. So I got to hang out with Lima and a few other friends.

There were 2 announcements in the speech that the headmistress gave. One being that since there was points given unfairly to Slytherin, which made them 2000 points ahead of everyone, that no one would be getting the house cup. Also, we would be back at Hogwarts next term. Our hard work for the secret society didn’t go to waste after all...thank goodness.

I also met this girl who knew Nico, and almost gave away the duel to Lima, but thank goodness she put it in terms that would only get Lima suspicious, she didn’t ask any questions. I wanted to tell her on the ride home.

Speaking of the ride home, Lima was more then furious with me, when I told her about it, but I was very sweet and calm. Mostly because I knew I was in trouble. She especially liked that I said the L shaped scare was for her. After I got her calmed down, we just talked about our families. We wanted to get to know each other better, since we didn’t have the chance before we became a couple.

I also got to meet one of her friends, Bella was her name. She was really cool. I was surprised in how much of a good mood I was in. Anyways, so now I’m home. I was greeted by my mother, who was, as always, overly excited to see me. She’s amazing I tell you. Anyways, dinners ready, and I’m starving.
