He started again, trying to reassure her. ".. Just for you, I will try out. Because I know that you wan't t play against me in a game." Miles smirked. If he was to play against Vannie, he would probobly try not to go near her, so she wouldn't get hurt. But the way he saw her playing today, he knew that she wouldn't need protection or anything, she would probobly beat him up, badly.
But he wouldn't let her know that.
"Maybe. I'll just say her name reeeaally slowly and see if she corrects me or not." Miles laughed. He took Vannie's hand and they started walking over to them. Cale's girlfriend seemed nice anyway, hopefully she wouldn't get angry at him forgetting and bite his head off.
"Hey Cale." He smiled at his friend, then turned to his girlfriend. "Hey .... A ..nna" ? Miles left it as a question in his head, maybe he should of gotten Vannie to say hi to her.
Stupid Miles.

Her smile faded slightly as she noticed that the couple seemed to be making a bee line towards the two Gryffindor Prefects. Oh. Oh. Tearing her eyes away from the two love birds, she flashed a strained smile.
"So er...this is...great. Right?" Cora choked.
"Oh, hey Miles," Cale said with a smile as Miles and that Hufflepuff girl--who he now assumed was his girlfriend, since they were together ALL the time--approached them. "How are you?" he asked.
That was when he looked up, and saw that Cora was with them. Something about her smile was all wrong--she was clearly uncomfortable. He frowned a bit and looked at his feet. She was leaving for good in just a few days, and if they couldn't make things NOT awkward between them soon, the chances of them becoming friends was going to be slim to none very shortly. "Hey Cora, how are you?" he asked, smiling at her.
